• Standing out to the Chelsea 2021/22 home shirt, the Nike Chelsea 2022/23 home jersey is all blue with a white / turquoise henley neckline.
• The new Chelsea 22/23 home kit pays tribute to Chelsea FC legend, Ted Drake, who led the club to their first-ever top-flight league title in 1955, and celebrates 70 years since Drake joined Chelsea as manager.
• This includes CFC’s nickname of ‘The Blues’ on the detailing of the shirt’s button. Ted Drake led the adoption of the moniker instead of the club’s previous informal name of ‘The Pensioners’.
• The Chelsea Lion that Drake helped introduce as the centerpiece of the club’s crest is represented on the jersey’s white Henley collar via a turquoise pattern.
